Inviting Friends to Pink-Pound

Why invite friends?

www.Pink-Pound.co.uk is a community site. The more Members there are, the more valuable the resource is to listing Businesses and the better Member Offers they can offer to benefit Members.

In other words, the more of us join in, the bigger muscle our Pink-Pound has got.

Inviting friends

Some sites ask your permission to pull-in and contact every contact in your address book, but Pink-Pound thinks that's invasive and inappropriate. But please invite as many of your friends as you can. And if you there are any businesses you'd like to see listing and giving you a discount, why not invite them too?

How many friends can I invite?

You can add as many friends as you like. But as usual, Pink-Pound has some restrictions to make the site as safe as possible:

  • You can invite up to 20 people per day
  • You can send only one e-mail to any one e-mail address (so don't worry about whether you've invited somebody before... the system will look out for that)
  • Pink-Pound Members and non-Members can choose to opt-out from particular types or all types of Pink-Pound Member e-mails. If one of your friends has opted-out, we'll let you know.
  • If you have not yet confirmed your e-mail account, invitations will be queued until you do.

How do I invite friends?

It's easy to invite friends, and you'll be able to see a list of the friends you've invited:

  1. Log-in to Pink-Pound if you're not already logged-in
  2. Click "My Account" in the logged-in box at the top right of any page
  3. Click "Invite Friends" in your "My Account" menu
  4. Enter the name of your friend in the left column, and their e-mail address in the right column
  5. You can click the "Add Another Line" link to make space for more invitations.
  6. When you're ready, click the "Send Invitations" button. Pink-Pound show you who you've invited and the date you invited them, in the right column; and will let you know if you've already sent an invitation to any of the contacts, of if they've opted-out of receiving e-mails from Members.

My friend lost their invitation and Pink-Pound doesn't let me send another one

That's very easy to solve... just give them Pink-Pound's domain-name and they can sign-up by themselves.
