At Greenacres we offer fully serviced luxurious accommodation to suit the discerning traveller or busy executive.

Situated in rolling countryside just outside Milngavie, in a stunning, unspoilt and little known location close to the Antonine Wall buffer zone, a World Heritage Site, where it passes through a valley between Bearsden and Milngavie and less than 10 miles north of Glasgow, this charming individually designed cottage was completed in late 2007 and offers the ultimate in luxury accommodation.

With easy access to the vibrant city of Glasgow; Loch Lomond, approx 20 miles, for boating, fishing, walking, cycling or golf; walking nearby on the West Highland Way, Campsie Fells and in the Carron Valley Forest, it is ideally situated for those seeking a little culture or wanting to escape into the great outdoors. Stirling, 25 miles, Edinburgh, 50 miles, both with many attractions. Shops and pubs less than 2 miles. Station less than 2 miles.

For leisure time, as well as boating on Loch Lomond, there's dinghy sailing at nearby Bardowie Loch, plenty of golf courses close by, sports centres, walking and fishing.  Bearsden Ski Club with its dry slope is also close by.

There are regular trains from Milngavie to Glasgow and a regular bus service.

The SECC and Armadillo are close to the River Clyde in Glasgow with the Science Centre across the river.

Glasgow's many attractions also include Kelvingrove Museum, The Burrell Collection, the Hunterian Museum, the Italian Centre and Princes Square for shopping, the Merchant City, George Square, the Gallery of Modern Art, many excellent restaurants and the lively West End.

Visit for anything from 3 nights - a long weekend  - up to 12 weeks.
